أَللّهُمَّ بِالْحَقِّ أَنْزَلْتَهُ وَ بِالْحَقِّ نَزَلَ. أَللّهُمَّ عَظِّمْ رَغَبَـتِي فِيـهِ وَاجْعَلْهُ نُوراً لِبَصَرِي وَ شِفآءً لِصَدْرِي وَ ذَهاباً لِهَمِّي وَ غَمِّي وَ حُـزْنِي. أَللّهُمَّ زَيِّنْ بِهِ لِسانِي وَ جَمِّلْ بِهِ وَجْهِي وَ قُوَّ بِهِ جَسَدِي وَ ثَقِّلْ بِهِ مِيْزانِي وَارْزُقْـنِي حَقَّ تِلاوَتِهِ عَلى طاعَتِكَ آناءَ الْلَّيْلِ وَ أَطْرافِ النَّهارِ وَاحْشُرْنِي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الأَخْيارِ الأَبْرارِ الأَطْهارِ بِرَحْمَـتِكَ يا أَرْحَمَ راحِمِينَ.

O’ Allah, with Truth You have sent it down (The Quran), and with Truth it was [indeed] sent down. O’ Allah, enhance my desire for it, and make it a light for my sight and a cure for my chest, and make it that which removes my grief, sorrow, and worries.

اللهُمَّ أَنِسٌ وَحْشَتِى فِي قَبْرِي. اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي بِالْقُرْآنِ الْعَظِيمِ وَاجْعَلْهُ لِي إِمَامًا وَ نُورًا وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً. اللَّهُمَّ ذَكَرْنِي مِنْهُ مَا نَسِيتُ وَعَلِّمْنِي مِنْهُ مَا جَهِلْتُ وَارْزُقْنِي تِلَاوَتَهُ أَنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَآنَاءَ النَّهَارِ وَاجْعَلْهُ لِي حُجَّةً يَا رَبَّ الْعَلَمِينَ

****Allahumma aa-nis wah-sha-ti fi-qabri. Allahummar hamni bil-qur’an-nil atheem waj-‘al-hu li i-ma-maw-wa nu-raw-wa hu-daw-wa rahmah. Allahumma dhak-kir-ni min-hu ma na-si-tu wa 'al-lim-ni min-hu ma ja-hil-tu, war zuq-ni ti-la-wa-ta-huuu aa-naaa-al-lai-li wa-aa-naa an-na-haa-ri, waj'al-hu li huj-ja-tay-ya rabbal-‘alameen.

O Allah, divert my restlessness in the grave into peace. O Allah! let me receive Your mercy by means of the Noble Qur’an and make it my guide as well as a source of light, guidance and grace for me. O Allah ! revive my memory of whatever I was made to forget from the Noble Qur’an, grant me understanding of whatever part I know not, enable me to recite it during hours of day and night and make it my main argumentative support (in all matters), O Lord of the worlds.
